Mount Wudang lies in the northwest of Hubei Province and covers an area of 400 kilometers. The main peak is called the Heavenly Pillar Peak and rises 1,612  meters above sea level. The landscape is wonderful with its caves, springs, rocks, peaks, streams and valleys.

In addition to its beautiful scenery, Mount Wudang is also known for its rich Taoist culture. The exceptional Taoist architectural complex contains more than 20,000 rooms.
