我们特别希望能找到以下中方合作伙伴：

• 可能有兴趣创作非常大规模作品的视觉艺术家（画家）
• 拥有为电影或戏剧创作音乐经验的当代作曲家
• 拥有戏剧化编排高空/绳技类型作品的杂技团

我们将与一家名为Les Passagers的法国剧团合作开发该项目，我们与该剧团在今年早些时候的合作非常成功。该剧团专注于在高空表演过程中在一张巨大画布上创作壮观油画作品的绳技戏剧表演。

We are looking for Chinese partners for a project which we’re developing for our International Festival next year, which takes place 19 – 22 June in East London.

We’re very keen to establish new relationships with artists from China with a particular view to working with them on a collaborative outdoor spectacle for our Festival.

In particular, we’re keen to identify the following:

• Visual artists (painters) who might be interested in working at very large scale
• A contemporary composer with experience of writing music for film or theatre
• An acrobatic company with specific experience of theatrically choreographed aerial/abseiling type work

We’re hoping to develop a collaborative project with a French company called Les Passagers with whom we worked very successfully earlier this year. The company specialise in creating abseiled theatrical performances on a giant canvas and creating a spectacular painting in the course of their aerial performance.

By bringing together Chinese artists with Les Passagers unique structure and technical “know how” we wanted to create an outdoor Chinese spectacle for our summer festival, perhaps inspired by traditional heritage as well as contemporary approaches to Chinese landscape painting.

In addition to this I‘d be separately very interested in finding out more about Chinese outdoor performance and spectacle in general with a view to an invitation next year both in the context of our Festival and our wider programme of work which has previously included the August arts festival programme for the Mayor of London in Trafalgar Square.
